Since forever man wanted to be smart, they tried everything to understand how the brain works and what makes a person have better mental abilities than others. For instance, to think faster, solve problems, sharpen memory, and others. In other words, we have been doing everything we can just to be called smart.
So, the million dollar question here is: How?
How can we become smarter, think faster, and be more intelligent?
Can you tell me what is intelligence?
Intelligence has been defined in many ways, including the capacity for logic, understanding, self-awareness, learning, emotional knowledge, reasoning, planning, creativity, and problem-solving. More generally, it can be described as the ability to perceive or infer information and to retain it as knowledge to be applied towards adaptive behaviours within an environment or context.
Intelligence is most often studied in humans but has also been observed in both non-human animals and in plants. Intelligence in machines is called artificial intelligence, which is commonly implemented in computer systems using programs and, sometimes, appropriate hardware. Source: Wikipedia
Hence there is no strict definition pertaining to intelligence or being smart. People try to connect school grades, paperwork, and exams with being smart and unfortunately, they think that if you are doing good in school, you’ll get good grades then, you are smart and vice versa.
Whether you are 200 or 2000 pounds, being fat is one of the most overrated issues you will face in your life. We live as if we are in a marathon. The slimmer. The better. With lots of unneeded efforts, starving dietary habits, exhausting exercises and photoshopped Instagram posts.
” People are obsessed with being skinny, even if they aren’t fat in the first place “
By your 21st year, you’d be accustomed to hearing the statement,
“We know your best interest. We want you to be the best, we want you to be perfect ”
Most of us have been living in a bubble of lies, where perfection is either being at the top in everything or looking like a supermodel. (Not everyone is or wants to be a Victoria Secret angel!!)
Sadly and fortunately, perfection doesn’t exist. We are only humans with lots of failures and flaws. We are perfect that way and even if there’s perfection in us, it won’t be within our waistline or GPA.
Some are dumb and that’s normal.
Some are fat and that’s okay.
But no one is a perfectionist.
Be dumb. Be fat. Just be you. You are perfect the way you are.
