24 without shelter

I don’t do this often.

This is a call for help.

I’ve been to orphanages and old age homes before, but never felt the need to talk about it. It’s because of a few government officials, who haven’t sanctioned their plea in years, that has left 24 aged people without shelter.

24 aged people living under sheds; surviving through heat, rain, and cold. Being so isolated , they hardly get many funds and are looked after by a single Indian family who also take care of 32 orphans and 8 widows.

Fortunately, the children aren’t devoid of education. The social welfare association monitors the well-being of all the 64 people.

Though we have tried to help them get a sanction for a home, it’s not the only thing. They lack food, clothing, medicines, and other necessities.

Any resident of India, primarily Hyderabad, willing to help them can drop me an e-mail.
