Lydia

Lips that speak the world

Yet never make a sound

Do I dare break the silence

In which a universe is made?

All in the quiet of a smile.

Evidence of new worlds

Leaps to our attention

Like horses over fences

Every day, yet

None compared to your created one.

Now, we uncover space,

Unlock new mysteries,

Conquer the unknown,

Kill the unsolved,

Open the doorway to opportunity,

Like the world, I found when you

Smiled.
